Jordan was fantastic.
However, the night receptionist Brian locked another member of staff in an upstairs without their consent. We got back from our evening to find the member of staff distressed.
Another guest came out to help get Jordan out of the room and after an hour Brian realised his mistake.
We all felt unsafe staying there and would definitely not visit here, stay away!
Bedroom had no tv or washing facility. Doors closed with a bang and keys entering and turning in mortice locks were so noisy, especially irritating when you have a crowd of staying guests coming in at 3am at night. Also, the following morning, toilet was not flushing.. The breakfast room was a small compressed area... I forewent the breakfast, and breakfasted elsewhere. Terrible place.
A little cold, but electric heaters were great to warm up by! (I imagine this would not be a problem when it is warmer outside) Would stay here again. Excellent location!!
Good location but VERY hard to find unless you know youre just looking for a door. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good, like that they had eggs available for guests.
Hostel was almost empty. We were only 2 in a 18 beds dormitory, which was very convenient but with more people, life would have been less easy (room too small for 18 people, very small kitchen, 3 showers and 1 toilet per gender on the first floor for 2 big dormitories and other rooms). Many rules are written in an unfriendly way all around the hotel, so very wierd atmosphere.
But staff is friendly, common room is nice.
Double room was good and comfortable. Downside was that it was next to the communal toilets and people were not so quiet. Place is fairly central. Staff were very friendly and approachable.
Cheap, central, parking nearby, right opposite tesco, friendly staff, easy check in/out, clean beds and showers. The place is a little shabby and there are awkward corners (like behind the beds) that are dirty but on the whole it's well equipped and perfectly acceptable for a hostel. Breakfast was very good.
did not enjoy my stay here, was meant to stay 2 nights but moved on after 1st night, rooms very small and difficult to accomodate 6 people.
Staff were nice and the female staff member extremely helpful
