Cannot stress this enough. Do not stay at this hotel. They make you pay a deposit which you can only see i the small print of this reservation which then takes weeks to return and is only sent back when you request it. The actual location of the apartment is not where it's listed on hotels.com. I also had a bad experience while I was there and they were unbelievably slow to send someone and then even threatened to bill me to fix a problem that was their fault.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with
The worst company I’ve ever had dealings with. Sent documents over 24 hours before check in and when I arrived, they claimed they hadn’t got them and that check in would take 90mins. I was late for my awards dinner and gad to get changed in a bathroom because I couldn’t get into my apartment. I was told they would ring me when they had my check in details but they never called so I was left with no where to stay and they took my money. Horrendous and don’t make the same mistake as me

AVOID!! AVOID! WORSE SERVICE EVER! RUINED MY STAY!
ABSOLUTELY astounded by the bad customer service given from start to end!! Charged me for late check out when it was granted it was ok as long as before 12pm due to letting us check in hour late due to their awful service! Keys were returned at 11.35am! What place sends out check in details where to go just minutes before 2pm and waits for you to contact them for check in details?? NO hair dryer in my apartment and I had checked online before travelling. I needed a hairdryer to style my hair and had ruined my plans as this is essential equipment that should have been provided. NO shampoo or conditioner was provided. Only one soap and 2 body wash bottles. These are not suitable for hair as well. How was this stay rated a 4star when basic essentials were not provided for a apartment to cater3 people? kitchenette, only 4 glasses were provided. I had champagne but no flute glasses. The heating system needs to fixed, as the radiators knobs do not work, so had to operate by boiler on/off only and can not control temperature at all else where. Did not even discover the boiler till mid night so the room was so hot. Bed/ mattress needs changing as not that comfortable Blinds in bedroom were broke and did not stop all the light coming in. Apartment ceiling had webs hanging above the kitchen cooking area which is not hygienic. Also on check out day I did not appreciate house keeping knocking the door at 10am. Disturbing and not needed as check out time is 11am.

Disappointment!
The address was not in full on the booking, no street or road name, so we spent ages going round in circles trying to establish where 4 Heron House was! with tall buildings poor signal on mobiles! Address did not say High Holburn, or near M & S, or near Southampton buildings, just London with the postcode. The Apartment did not lock from the inside, we had to baracde the door with chairs! No safety catch, this was missing broken. The coffee was hard and stale and the few tea bags were only earl grey and stale. The bed collapsed, when inspecting the slats had been repaired as I took a picture (I am not a large person). The light in the hall did not work the bulb needed replacing. Very few toiletries one shower mini gel and one shampoo for three people staying which was indicated on the booking. As a positive the apratment was warm and enough towels for three. Disappointing that we could not post the keys back in a drop box, we had to return to Holburn station when Chancery Lane station was 50 yrds away. The shower holder over the bath had a large crack in and was about to break. The bed linen was clean and fresh. Disappointing overall.

Poorly maintained. Bed slats broken on right side so collasped several times. They ignored emails regarding this. We had no hot water . Discoved the hot water system in a cupboard covered with bags of dirty linen. We managed to turn the hot water on . Rang the emergency phone lady was rude and unhelpful. Got onto excel eventually after leaving several messages . They collected 8 bags of dirty linen to free up our cupboard space. Broken blinds under bed and broken ironing board in wardrobe. Few utensils. No plug in sink. Just poorly maintained and no assistance from excel. I would not recommend.

great location lovely flat however no way to control heating so it was very warm. A place to drop the keys at the flat rather than back to the shop in Holburn would have been good. But only a minor point would definitely use again.

retrieving the key took longer than stated, and the communication was not clear. on the first night someone knocked on the door unannounced, and then when i didn't answer (since I didn't expect anyone) they started to come into the door. It was someone who was coming to bring towels, but they should have not started to unlock the door and come in at 9:30 at night, or any time.

Nice apartment - but complicated access
Apartment conveniently located. Very convoluted way to gain access, via a key code sent the afternoon of the stay, to give to a newsagent quite a long walk away (if you have luggage) to get your keys. Otherwise all good.

Great apartment; just as described and photographed. Balcony wasn’t private which is a bit of a shame and the blinds were damaged from people using the balcony. WiFi worked well and apartment had great facilities - I only stayed for one night but would definitely recommend it for longer stays. Collecting the keys was a little confusing as I hadn’t received my code, though a quick phone call to the agent soon fixed that. I’ve already recommended the apartments to others and will be staying there again.

This apt is more like an airbnb than an aparthotel (no onsite service and key must be picked up and dropped off in advance from a tobacco shop a few blocks away). Emails with respect to this set up arrived last-minute and were a bit confusing. Location is very nice however and apartment was clean, comfortable, and supplied well with towels. Probably best for a business stay, couple or couple with one child since the sofa bed is small and the main bed is smaller than a US queen. We travel frequently to London and would consider staying here again for convenient location near Holborn, Brit Museum, and Covent Garden.

Really good location
Good place overall, service and check in really good and easy. Could do with a better cleaning service, comfier mattress, pillows & bedding but that is just personal preference. Location is great! Would definitely stay again.

First of all, location is amazing, and the flat and its rooftop are awesome, except that the television isnt working properly, which is poor for a facility like this. Check in was a hassle, and when contacting staff they were not all to certain how to go about things. They also habve a key exc hange service in a store that is quite a walk from the flat (if you have luggage), but the worst part was that you had to hand the key back to the store, which I forgot at first, and which I had to pay extra for. WIth a facility like this, you expect a customer service that make your experince seamless,unfortunatley that was not my experience this time around.
