"Great hotel located in a central area in Bern. About a 5 minute walk to the train station. Rooms are small but doable, especially for a night or two. Coffee and tea are free in the lobby. You can also purchase a glass of wine or make any drink available for an extra fee. Right next to an amazing coffee shop with fantastic muffins. Also 7 minutes away from a cool cocktail bar called Department 66. Would stay again! "

"Stayed two nights with family. Everything was clean and we had tea coffee in the room. The only strange thing was that the toilet was separate to the shower and sink so you had to go to the toilet then come out and wash your hands in the shower room. I don't know how this arrangement would suit anyone, are they expecting people not to wash their hands after using the toilet? Didn't expect this from novotel but otherwise we had an amazing stay. There's ample parking on site, you do have to pay extra for it though. It's close to transport links and not far from any of the restaurants and sites we went to. It was absolutely freezing with heavy fog the whole time we were there but the room was always cosy and hot water available, no issues. We didn't eat anything at the hotel so cannot comment on it but the dining and reception areas downstairs have very nice decor and ambience. Check in and check out was a breeze and all staff were very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if I visit Bern again. "
