"Service from the front desk staff was outstanding! Hotel is located in a great area of Barcelona at the top of La Rambla. The room was very small at 17 sq. meters making it hard to store suitcases and clothes. The bed located on a pedestal was tricky to access. Bathroom was very intimate and should not be shared with someone you don’t know well. The happy hour and rooftop patio was enjoyable and greatly appreciated. We would stay here again, but next time would upgrade to a larger room."

"We enjoyed a brilliant stay at the apartments. They are ideally located at the top of the Barri Gotic and very close to Placa de Catalunya. The apartment was perfectly kitted out for our family of 4 and the balcony overlooking the square was a haven for people watching after a long day sightseeing. It wasn’t noisy at all (the “road” outside is populated by only taxis, bikes and trash collectors) apart from one evening when a new store just below had an opening night and to be honest, we were...

"Lovely hotel located in the old town but also walking distance to a lot of sights. We had a room on 4th floor facing an internal courtyard and there was no noise whatsoever. Nice and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again when in Barcelona. "

"The staff are one of the greatest features of this hotel. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The room was large and the bathroom was very modern. The rooftop bar is incredible with unparalleled views of the cathedral. There are a few areas in the room where the paint could use a touch-up but otherwise everything was in perfect condition. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit."

Everything was nice (though we are in our 70’s and the bed mattress was a little too firm for us!) and we highly recommend making the hotel your home base while in Barcelona.
