"If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. "We arrived to no electric at the hotel due to storm Bert. Fortunately the electric wasn’t off for long, and we were shown to our newly refurbished room. It was nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower cubicle. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and it was quiet. The only downside was I paid for a sea view room but did not get this. I got a room overlooking an over grown garden. "

"Loch Lomond Arms was a beautiful property near the lake. Our room was beautiful and cozy, like something out of a novel (save for some stains on the bathroom curtain). The small town was lovely and safe, with an easy stroll down the street to the lake and a pier. However, a shower curtain and fan for the bathtub/shower would be really appreciated for those of us who take showers, and help prevent the bathroom from getting to moist."
