The manmade lake here wasoriginally created as a boating attraction during LlandrindodWells’ hey-day as a Victorian spa town. Today, it’s a popularspot for anglers and model boaters. It also has a fabulous little café whereyou can grab a bite while looking over the copper serpent sculpture thatemerges from the lake. Lovely area, but town rather run down and considering this was the Victorian Weekend festival - most shops were closed on the Saturday as was the Cycle museum, and the Spa tea rooms

Went back to revisit area that I went to as a child. The museum was well worth a visit. Walk around the lake was nice, but the cost of hiring a boat was a little expensive. Also, unfortunately, like many other town centres shops have closed.

A lovely town and a great place to visit. Also the local Ford Dealer "Tremont Ford" did me an amazing deal on my new Ford Kuga which i have come to collect.
