"Horrible. I think all the positive reviews came from friends of the owner. For one, the window in the room opened and didn’t have a screen. Very dangerous. Two, the AC/Heat didn’t work. It was 40 degrees when we stayed and we didn’t have any heat. The unit was barely even attached to the wall. The floors were nasty, stains everywhere. The internet was horrible. The beds are uncomfortable. The elevator didn’t have an inspection certificate like it’s legally supposed to. But wait it gets worse… baby roaches in the bathroom sink. We cancelled the second night as soon as we got to the room. Only reason we stayed one night is because we were exhausted from traveling. It was just terrible. Not to mention it’s not in a very safe location… and just for the record I rarely ever leave reviews but I was fooled by the positive reviews here so I’d like to leave an honest one and warn others to stay away. No way this place would stay open if they were inspected. "

"We stay at Homewood Suites frequently. We travel with service dogs and it’s a fantastic hotel for dogs. The rooms are perfect with separate sitting areas and a kitchenette as well as two tvs when your spouse u have very different viewing ideas. The hotel is conveniently located but remote enough to be able to walk our dogs comfortably and not in downtown pedestrian traffic. The hotel could use some upgrades but the kind and efficient staff, always are ready make up for it!"
