Guatemala family trip
This is a great location for visiting the castle and right by the water. It has a restaurant and pool and a boat dock. It offers parking as well. If you are not about going up stairs make sure to request the first floor at time of booking due to the fact that most of these hotels do not have elevators. Rooms are small and compact, shower is a good size, and parking is included and guarded.

The place was dirty, service non existent. They wouldn't even give us ice! The food at the restaurant was bad to day the least. Stay anywhere else

This place has a lot of potential. It was nice and had an amazing view, but when it was time to take a shower the water wasn’t going down the drain…it was clogged and it was SO uncomfortable to take a shower. I brought I up to the front desk and they said they were going to look into it.

We could not get all our family at the more desired hotel so we had one room here. There was an issue with clear glass in the pool. The manager would not come to the area or front desk. We were told to find him in the restaurant. They deny any responsibility. I have been to the area a few times. There are better choices close by.

This hotel had zero water coming out of the shower. Not just zero hot water; NO water at all. Bed linens should have been trashed five years ago. WiFi did't work in the rooms and lobby seating was unpleasant. Check-in clerk was least friendly person I met during two weeks in Guatemala.

The person guarding the gate stands idle next to trash on the ground in front of the hotel…pick it up? Room was missing sound module for the speakers. They were checking but never got back to us. Wi-fi not working. Helicopter pad on dock is not welded properly. Impact load of helicopter will break the cross member structure. Limited choices at restaurant but good food and service. Construction on roof of restaurant not too bad for noise. Painful to watch slow progress. Air conditioning worked good once it achieved set point. Non-functioning light switch in bathroom. Bathroom light is controlled together outside bathroom lights. Annoying for others at night.

Le restaurant près de l'hôtel offre un excellent service, la nourriture y est excellente et le personnel est efficace et attentionné. Par contre, le personnel de l'hôtel est terrible, inhospitalier voire méprisant. Personne ne parle anglais et les efforts pour parler espagnol sont mal accueillis. De la gérante à la réceptionniste, le personnel est avare de sourires. Enfin j'aimerai mentionner que la piscine est propre et bien entretenue.
