My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Olissippo Palace Hotel. I strongly recommend it for a visit to Lisbon. The breakfast buffet in the morning is excellent. I am on a gluten-free diet and they were very accommodating. They brought a wonderful basket of two different breads and a fresh lemon poppyseed muffin. They will make any sort of breakfast coffee for you and custom omelets in addition to the buffet. When touring gets tiring, taking a break for a day at the pool is great. They have pool-side food and drink services, a nice bar and some regular restaurant tables under umbrellas for folks who are not interested in swimming. If you require warm water for a swim like my wife, the indoor pool is kept a bit warmer. We enjoyed visiting the bar by the lobby in the evening and listening to the piano player. They bring some nice snacks with the drinks. After dinner, we went back for digestifs. They brought some cookies rather than salty snacks. I mentioned that I was on a special diet and the waiter rushed to the restaurant for some gluten-free cookies. The concierge arranged reservations for three different restaurants during our trip. All were very good and two of them were a short walk from the hotel. After my visit, I left something in my room by mistake. I called the concierge, and he immediately tracked it down and arranged for it to be mailed to me on the other side of the world. Again, I strongly recommend this hotel.

What a great hotel. Very friendly staff, great comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast buffet. The pool is family friendly, my son had a great time, met some other kids and played catch in the pool with them. I would for sure stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous stay. In a quiet area yet very walkable to great dining, a few cocktail bars - giving a very local feel away from the more touristy areas, which is great for a more immersive experience. Lapa Palace hotel is so nice you will almost not want to leave at all to venture around Lisbon! However, if you can tear oneself away from the idyllic pool and gardens, the wonderful hotel staff is ready to provide recommendations, reservation assistance and everything else for a lovely time in this magical city! Service is 10000/10. Rooms have a vintage, palatial feel but are more luxurious than many newer hotels with firm mattresses, linens changed daily and turndown service. Cannot wait to return!

Lapa Palace great place to stay while in Lisbon
We absolutely loved this hotel. First off it’s a beautiful Palace that has been restored and also on a street with many embassies. So it’s in a residential area, which makes it quiet from the busy city life . The service was amazing.

It’s a 6 euro cab ride to the action. But that doesn’t matter. This is a fantastic hotel. The service was some of the best I’ve come across. Warm, friendly and nothing was a problem. Fabulous trip. Quiet and chilled. Lovely pool and outstanding restaurant. We will return next year with our kids.

This was the best hotel in Lisbon! We found Lisbon to be somewhat crowded (especially when cruise ships are in). This hotel allowed us to walk all over Lisbon and be in the best areas but out of the hustle when we return. That was amazing. This hotel had the best service and I would compare the service to a Ritz or 4 seasons. Everyone is attentive! We appreciated that! We thought the food was amazing. The bar drinks were too. Hands down I would choose this hotel again. They made our trip memorable.
