Solid hotel one block off libertade blvd. down a hill from trendy Bairro and Principe neighborhood. The hotel is central and walking distance to many attractions, shopping and restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and small. No sitting areas in the lobby. Modest breakfast. Very accommodating with early check-in. Friendly and pleasant staff.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was a little tight but we weren't in the room that much. Great location and everything is walkable. We got metro passes while we were there so easy to get around. Main things were location, breakfast which was really nice and they have an excellent friendly staff.

Perfect location to walk around the city, I found some great restaurants nearby as well. The only negative thing was the rooms weren’t quite sound proof, not ideal if you are a light sleeper.

We had a pleasant stay at Maxime Hotel. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile, which made us feel welcome. The continental breakfast selection was sufficient, offering a nice start to each day. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the metro and public transport, making it convenient to explore the city. However, there are a few areas for improvement. It would be great to have amenities like bathtub, gym room, or at least yoga mats available. Additionally, soundproofing could use some attention, as we could easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms and the noise from street bin collection late at night. Overall, a good place to stay with potential for enhancements.

The people were wonderful check-in was easy. The room was very clean and looked over the park. The bartenders were wonderful. Breakfast was great staff at the front desk helped with everything you could ask them to all around wonderful hotel.

This hotel is in a great location! We really enjoyed staying here and found the staff helpful and friendly. Quick walk to many attractions and close to the airport. Room was kind of small — only had room for a bed, and also the images of women on the bathroom walls frightened me a few times while I showered but that's probs a me problem. They provided a complimentary water bottle which was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, too.

Highly recommend!!
This was an incredible hotel due to the fact that everyone working there went above and beyond.. From the front desk to everyone working in the one of a kind cabaret bar (great bartender and servers) to the cleaning staff they were beyond welcoming! The location was excellent as it was not in the middle of the tourist traffic. I also highly recommend eating in the restaurant. The breakfast was everything you could ask for and the dinners were as good as any top restaurant. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
