"Very nice location smack in the middle of the city. The car can be parked underground in a public parking about 200m from the hotel. Everything is basically walking distance. There are so many restaurants and wine bars in the surrounding area and shopping options are plenty as well. It is perfect for a weekend away or just a convenient overnight trip. "Enjoyed the stay here. 2pm check out which was great. 24 hour hot drinks and a really pleasant seating / bar area. Only negatives would be the tiny closest toilet in the room, and the low, not hugely comfortable beds. However even with these i would certainly stay again."

"Couvent des Minimes always hits the spot. I never bother to even look at other hotels in Lille. Perfectly located; quiet; charming and helpful staff; beautiful building. Perfect! "

"Convenient location to walk around Lille. Staff were excellent, especially Julia at reception who gave fabulous restaurant recommendations and even booked us a table. Bedroom was a little compact, but had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"The hotel was ‘quirky’ - lots of ephemera around - pictures, ornaments etc. But that is why we chose it.The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.The lift was from an another era, but in a good way. The breakfast was ok. It was situated within walking distance of the main tourist destinations."

"Beautiful hotel and lovely room. Great staff. The hotel is right in the center of town so access is easy to everywhere, but I recommend walking because traffic is a little crazy. The room itself was very clean and well decorated, but in the toilet room (which was separate from the sink/shower room) there is a slight sewer odor. However, I stayed in other places in Lille, and I have found the same thing to be true in those places as well. So I think it is a common problem for the city of Lille, and not necessarily something that the hotel has control of. With the door to the toilet room closed, there was no smell in the rest of the room. "
