Go to the Pontile Bellavista Vittoria, a pier with spectacular views of the sea and the town. For refreshments, try the bars and restaurants that line the promenade.
In addition to fun and games on the beach, treat any children with you to a visit to Pitagora Park. The year-round playground and amusement park features a fairground, an adventure playground and a sports area with a soccer field, basketball court and ping pong tables. There are more games and activities for children at the nearby Luna Park.
Venture slightly further afield with a hike or drive through the scenic countryside that flanks the resort. The town also makes a good base for exploring some of Tuscany's most famous calling cards. To get to Lido di Camaiore, fly into Pisa and take a bus north to reach the town. Alternatively, hail a taxi or rent a car. The beautiful resort and its picturesque surroundings are just to the south of Forte dei Marmi and north of the city of Viareggio on the Amalfi Coast.
