The property was in a great position to be near the town and shops.. staff were excellent and very friendly nothing was to much trouble.. parking on site also which is a bonus

Did the job!

Good hotel, did what we needed it to as a base for our weekend in Lichfield. Dog friendly and flexible, plus they were very happy to meet our dog and provided a dog bed, bowl and treats - which was sweet. The hotel is a bit tired - but we needed somewhere in Lichfield with parking and this did that. Worth noting that parking is £5 per night, which I didn't know.

Really friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent location. The only issue is that the hotel is more or less full and there are not enough spaces in the car park. We got a space but arrived 30 minutes after check in opened. Others were not so lucky.

Ideal for my visit.

Good location for the cathedral. Short walk into town. Friendly staff. Freshly made breakfast. Central heating wasn't working when i was there, but they provided freestanding heater in the room.

Cathedral Hotel Litchfield

I was told at check in that the heating was broken. Electric oil heaters were in the rooms. The heater was not adequate for the size of the room. No evening meals served this should be more evident on Hotels.com. The building and furniture is old and dated. Large scale refurbishment inside and out required. Mould in the bathroom

Absolutely horrific conditions. Avoid at all costs. I travel for work regularly and can safely say this is one of the worst experiences Ive ever had.

The staff were all lovely and very friendly. They went out of their way to help you. The property itself is a bit dated in the rooms but still comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and again the wait staff were brilliant.
