"The hotel was great. We could walk to District 7 area. The shuttle took us downtown, and to out excursion and airport. It was awesome. Thank you for the great southern hospitality ."
"As most of the reviews have mentioned, this hotels rooms are designed weird. With the blue cushion thing going across the wall. And the lights that dangle slightly above the nightstands. However, I wasn’t concerned about them. And found the lights to not be inconvenient at all. And I can look past the “not so classic look” with how comfortable the beds are. Which is the most important thing about a hotel. The beds are mostly plush style which is my personal preference, and those pillows are amazing. I usually need a few pillows at a hotel because they tend to squish too far, these pillows kept their shape for the most part and made our stay one of the most comfortable and relaxing stays we’ve ever had. We loved that the pool stays open until 10 pm, and loved the floor length mirrors. As well as the ample storage and counter space. I was also pleased to find a keurig in our room instead of those nasty old fashioned coffee pots. And finally, breakfast was pleasantly good.
The only things I would change is the microwave was sort of placed in a closet and on a weird stool.. like almost as if they forgot to design a space and last minute threw it somewhere. Haha. And I wish there was a better space to put your shoes. However, most hotels don’t have that. And finally, the coffee made in the breakfast lounge was disgusting. It tasted burnt. I definitely suggest making your own or picking some up elsewhere.
All in all, this is a fabulous place to stay. "
