Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "We love this hotel, it is an old chateau with only three large well equipped rooms, so limited noise from other guests. It’s very close to the center of town and has secure free parking. The owner provides a lovely continental breakfast with fresh fruit and log fire when it’s cold. There is a kitchen near the rooms with fridge, sink and microwave .
