"What a terrific hotel. Breakfast is really amazing. Lots of selection delicious food. The staff is super accommodating and nice although I wish they had more front desk people since it felt like there was typically a bit of a wait. The rooms are nice with good toiletries and we had a junior suite with an amazing view of the harbor. It felt like we were on a boat, watching the other boats go by. The location is super convenient probably the best location of all the hotels because it’s not on the main street but the main street is a one minute walk "

"A beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night but they were welcoming and friendly. The room was very nice. We went to the buffet dinner and it was outstanding! It was pretty much the only place we found that had a full vegetarian buffet!"

"Second day room not cleaned, lobby told me need hang the sign "clean my room", Third day we hanged sign, but still not cleaned, then lobby said we need inform them... so our room no more clean, dirty towels piled up, trash can full..."

"The room was comfortable and clean - very warm and cosy. The bed is quite soft and they gave me two pillows - one normal and one massive - which actually made sitting up and reading in bed very comfy. The duvet was quite thick for the summer, but that might just be me.The windows do a really good job of blocking out noise from the outside. I had a single room with its own bathroom - there was ample space for me. Yes, the towel rail is over the loo, but the rooms are compact so I am not really sure where else they would put them. My only complaint about the room is the lack of space for me to put my clothes. As I was staying for a week, I wanted to unpack and had to just stack all my stuff on the desk in the room provided. Not a huge hassle, just a thing. Certainly not severe enough to reduce the stars. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety, really nice fresh bread, and the staff were good at keeping everything topped up. For me though, the best thing was the location. It's really central with everything you need within a five/ten minute walk. I have read some of the comments about the lack of tea/coffee facilities etc. but that is clear in the room description so I don't know what people were expecting. Overall, I was really happy with my stay and would definitely use them again. "

"Excellent location with super friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Bonus of included evening meal and afternoon snack in price. Decor a bit tired in places but the price point is about right and the location makes up for it. 2 minute walk from drop off point of airport shuttle bus. Definitely worth paying for an upgraded room that looks out over the harbour for great views of the arctic cathedral. I was very happy with my stay here and will use again next time in Tromso."
