As others have said, it’s extremely well kept and clean. In the Condo and the common areas…immaculate actually. It’s very dated. It would have been nice to know we would have people above us, and the hot tub no longer exists and that was disappointing. It’s a great location and condo is well equipped. Don’t expect miraval, but it’s a great place.

Expedia stated the front desk is open until midnight, but when I arrived at 8:05pm the door to the registration bldg was locked.i located a mailbox marked “late check ins” where I found a key card that was only good for one of my two nights. It snowed 2-3” during my 2-day stay, but the sidewalks to my building were never shoveled. Room was extremely clean but quite outdated. Bathroom tiles were cracked with pieces missing along the exterior wall, allowing very cold air in. Price was good for my short stay - unfortunately I didn’t have time to use the clubhouse amenities.

Room was excellent and the grounds are beautiful. General manager checked us in and went above and beyond to help us unpack our car since I am oxygen dependent and my wife has back issues.

Love The Ponds!

The Ponds at Foxhollow is always my first choice. I stay there for the gorgeous grounds, clean condos, friendly staff and the convenience to Tanglewood and other attractions in the Berkshires!

The grounds were gorgeous and the unit was just as described. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful and was a nice retreat to go back to at the end of the day. There were other amenities, like a gym but I believe they close the building fairly early so it can’t be used past 6pm. I would absolutely stay here again, should I be in the area. It was an incredible value for the amount paid.

Pleasant Stay

This is a very nice place. The condos are clean and nothing was broken. The only con is that everything is outdated. The place needs a remodel but they have keep everything in good condition so it still was a pleasant stay. The grounds are beautiful and the library, heated indoor pool and some gym equipment were very nicely kept.

Condo nicer than a hotel suite, with fireplace.

The condo was excellent. Bed comfortable, working fireplace -- but bring an artificial log or two to burn -- the store sells out. The kitchen was stocked with dishwasher soap, etc. The living room area was very comfortable, and in ludes a coffee table and a good TV. We were delighted, and will return.

Berkshire Favorite!!

The property isn't brand new, but is far from outdated! Very clean, very comfortable, and spacious! A view of the ponds from every unit and the small fountain was such a soothing sound to listen to while relaxing on the small veranda. Ample parking and an out-of-the-way feeling, while being 5-10 minutes from 3 different towns! The staff was very welcoming and went above and beyond to accomodate our busy schedule. I will stay here again and again!

Staff was responsive and very helpful. The property was well-landscaped and clean. Check-in and out were easy. The outdoor pool area was very nice, however, the unheated pool was too cold. The property was close to Lenox, Lee, and Stockbridge, all offering lots of dining options. The apartment was clean, however, the bathroom needs to be updated. It was functional, but the ceiling fixture needs to be cleaned , a number of the floor tiles are cracked, and the enclosure around the tub needs to be replaced and the ceiling needs painting. Given that so many of the guests are senior citizens, a shower stall rather than a tub would be nice for better access. All in all, we had a great visit...lots of good food and freshly made ice cream at the farm next door. Also nearby theater was a treat.

Just right for what we were seeking

Wife and I found some solitude in an otherwise stressful visit to the area to deal with a family health situation. The property is lovely and the staff is committed to pleasing its guests. GM Jay was helpful and honest about the improvements in progress. (I'd suggest softer bed pillows and firmer sofas in living room.) We were not staying as a timeshare exchange, but found excellent rates for this visit online. We'd certainly stay here again.

The location and property itself are wonderful. The facilities are aged, and I do know they're working to renovate and update. The bed and sofa were comfortable; and the accommodations are pleasant. The bathroom may be difficult to modernize. It's tough getting into the shower inside the non-functional jacuzzi tub, etc. The back deck and environment are showing their age, as well.

The property is in a great location to explore The Berkshires. It could use some updating but some of the issues could be taken care of with little money - like newer towels in the bathroom, shower curtain, shower heads. Internet was terrible in the unit I was in, so was provided a booster. Maintenance staff is great. Had difficulty at check out because my payment to Orbitz hadn't been processed so the front desk staff wanted to charge me again. I made them call Orbitz and it was straightened out.
