The location of this property was great but when we first arrived it wasn’t cleaned very well. The kitchen was alright but the fuse would go out when trying to use the microwave.

My husband and I stayed here as a stop on our honeymoon tour and we have nothing but amazing things to say. The staff went above and beyond for us (upgraded our room for free, left flowers and champagne in the room a sweet note) and were consistently kind, attentive, and overall pleasant to interact with. You could tell the employees really care about providing good service. The hotel was clean, easy to get around, and located in a superb location (walking distance to pretty much everything). A couple things to note - the food was actually great. Sometimes hotel food is just mediocre but we thought it was worth coming back for a meal. The hotel is also very busy/popular due to location and Photo Booth inside so got quite crowded at night - but noise wasn't an issue near the rooms. Overall extremely happy with the room service experience and will absolutely be back. If you're thinking about it - highly recommend!

"Really liked many aspects of this hotel. I was there in the winter for a visit to one of the many yards that calls Makkum home.
