"I rarely share my reviews on Expedia but I would say I really like this accomodation. The staff were super friendly and the room was spacious and well equipped. Enjoyed a really comfortable stay here. There are workshops in the hotel occasionally which makes the hotel even more lively. :) The only limitation I can think of is that there are only limited restaurants/shops near the hotel so you will need to go back to the city centre."

"Easy to reach from the tram. Arrived late & email provided details of how to get key. Room good size and clean with twin beds. All a bit tatty. General area doesn’t have the nicest feel. Bit run down, dirty & graffiti, but no problems."

"hotel was clean receptionist was polite and a fast check in. the area is considered unsafe but honestly just keep your wits about you and its friendly enough not all that bad more interesting. great for finding party products. we ate nearby and there was lots of selection. i would stay again if I returned to Brussels. "The location is fairly close to the train station. The room itself was okay, though not as described. It was supposed to have 3 standard pads and a double. It had 1 standard, 1 double, and a BUNK bed. It was also supposed to have an elevator- a lie. Check in was difficult. You have to call them and then FIND the location and then use an intercom and their English is very limited and the sound is tough. You then go into the building and are called into a back office-- they don't greet you-- and...

"I was very dissatisfied why my stay with Smart flats. They do respond to the issues you report, but they do not fix them. The elevator was not working and I of course was on the 6th floor! I reported there was no remote for the TV but never got one. I reported no shampoo dispenser, but they never fix it. They of course respond to my reports, but nothing gets done."

"Elevator was broken, our room was on the seventh floor. Reading older reviews it seems to be a common issue. Flat was the very definition of quantity over quality. Yes, it was a big space but the owner puts ikea land lords to shame. Pillows the size of postage stamps with no fill, broken couch, holes in the sheets, holes in the shower curtain that had half fallen off, no water pressure. It all goes on. "Huge 2 bedroom apartment in a great location, could do with a bit of TLC but it was clean, beds were comfy and we enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed, but could have done with more towels. WiFi was slow but it did work."

"Excellent location close to train station and public transportation (tram and buses). Close to lots of restaurants and main shopping venues. Room was reasonable size but bathroom could be updated. The temperature in the room and floors is too high and even with AC, could not reach an « acceptable » temperature. There is a gym with limited equipment (and again very hot). Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. "

"Everything at the hotel was great. The staff was helpful. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. There were even friuts and other foods in the lobby for guests. My only complaint is that we should have had more signage in the Brussels Airport directing us on how to get to check-in. "

"What an absolute delightful experience at Steigenberger. Location is central, and tram line is right at the doorstep. The hotel gives you a luxurious feel, the interiors are stunning and the place is spacious. The breakfast hall is huge and the food was excellent. The staff were absolutely friendly and supportive, 5 stars to the staff. Overall, a very pleasant experience 🤗"
