"We didn't actually stay at Munna Palace, as the management transferred us to Hotel Malik Residency, next door, owned by same group. Munna did not seem ready or aware of our booking, and I think they wanted to make up for this and gave us a room with a view. This was after the promised airport shuttle did not arrive. "The stay was good, they provided heater in one room and hot water bags in other rooms. No hot water, The owner used to bring half bucket when we asked him. Sumur village is too far from nubra. If one wants to stay in nubra, this is a guest house. One will not have an option for food, because it is a small village where every house is turned into a guest house."

"Wonderful stay with kind ,generous hosts. Beautiful rooftop viewing of city. Breakfast & a few meals prepared to specifications wonderful. Also I was hospitalized my first 24 hours for altitude sickness & the hosts helped me & my travel partner navigate through all of that. They were generous & kind with their care & information. Had lots of information & gave much time & energy to the touring aspect of our stay."

"The room was relly stink on arrival. Smelly and sheets haven't been washed for a long time. Was told that blanket was washed 2 months ago. "Most of the places in Leh do not have heat, hot water is minimal. At this time of year bring your woollies, I didn't. There were enough quilts and the sun did warm up the room. I was the only guest. Every morning I had an omelette, toast, and tea. The free internet was very poor but this was true throughout the city and sometime was off for a couple of days."
