"The property is in good condition and they offer free breakfast. Although the breakfast was very basic at least it was included and the hotel is pretty affordable. The beds were clean and comfortable. However, I suggest a deep cleaning in the bath tub the shower head was a little moldy and there was some hair in the shower. Other than that I would recommend staying here. "

"I would like to thank the staff and the gentleman that helped me check-in. I’m sorry, I forgot his name. I had informed him of my surprised proposal to my special lady. He had went out of his way to help me with my requests. He visibly saw how nervous I was. Lol. The whole stay, a one day surprised engagement trip on New Years Eve, was surreal and memorable. Thank you Gaylord. Lastly, she said yes! 😊"

"The hotel was everything we expect from Marriott but the staff were exceptional. They would go beyond to help us out. I liked the fact that I was able to rent a car for the day from DCA Reagan Airport and take the hotel shuttle to and from the airport. Overall, if you plan on going to DC and looking for a cheaper way around, the Courtyard by Marriott is a great place to stay. The Metro bus can be picked up on 27th right next to the hotel or you can take the shuttle to the airport and pick up the Metro train. The hotel supplies the Metro transit maps. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at citizenM. Though the rooms are compact, they are extremely clean, cozy, modern, and efficient. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to the National Mall. "
