"The property is beautiful but the rooms are very tiny and there is no real place for large suitcases. We had two twin beds and my mattress kept moving as it had no where to go on one side as it was up against a wall. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and cleaned the room up nicely. We did not pay for breakfast but large area was open to all as was the fridge and plates and silverwear which was great for leftovers. A microwave in basement is really needed. "Huge room. I has 2 twins and 2 pull out chairs for families. Bathroom also huge. The garage was expensive but I didn’t want to deal with parking. Room has safe. Large walk in shower. Would recommend. 9/10"

"really clean and safe! really enjoyed my stay here and its right in the town centre! not too social but thats fine for me and its not as dire as some of these reviews may have you think aha, theres a common area with self service for drinks and snacks, a couple people from my dorm went down there to hang out each night and seemed to have a good time! "

"check in and check out was super easy. the staff was so accommodating and super nice. location was walkable to old town. the hotel itself was extremely quiet and super comfortable. the room we stayed in was massive for European standards. absolutely loved every bit of it. we did not do breakfast the couple days we were there, but it smelled fantastic! Will absolutely stay here again!!"

"Overall a very nice hotel. As mentioned elsewhere rooms though a good size are somewhat dated. The bathroom in my deluxe room was very 90’s…I wouldn’t normally expect a shower in a bath for an upgrade room, The Spa is the stand out feature of this hotel. Beautiful views of the mountains…particularly at dusk. Very relaxing. The hotel is very much a family hotel. I personally found the dinner options very limited…4 mains and one desert option. (Or that’s all I was presented with) Business...

"A wonderful hidden gem on the side of a lake, overlooked by beautiful mountains. Lovely staff, delicious food. Just an easy place to stay and relax. I was told we were the 6th British couple to stay in the last 5 years. I'm not completely convinced by that but who cares, it was a joy."

"It’s a charming 700 years old house, located just in five minutes walk from train station and close to pedestrian street with restaurants and museum of Fussen. Alex (owner) provided all needed information about the aria and gave us bus tickets to go to castles. There is a kettle, microwave and small fridge at the room."
