"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We have stayed here before and to be honest we could not fault it on that occasion. But sadly this time it was a very different story. Upon arrival we checked the house for any damage and found a broken bowl on the coffee table in the lounge, there was also some cleaning products left out and the house seemed very untidy. Cottage itself is very homely and decorated thoughtfully, with some lovely touches such as milk, juice, fruit and cookies on arrival. Clean, tidy and a nice cottage feel.
