"Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
We stayed here as a stop over and to break up our drive to Tuscany. We are so glad we did. The service was amazing. We had our two dogs who were made to feel incredibly welcome. The surrounding area is so beautiful and rustic. The pool area is beautiful and the breakfast was spot on.
Highly recommend! "

"Great hideaway location. Fab for the ski brigade. We arrived by motorbike and was impressed with the secure parking. The staff are very friendly and professional. We ate dinner and the food was very good. I'd recommended."

"I have elected to give this property full marks just to balance out some of the negative reviews that I felt were overly harsh. Some of the comments did inspire a lot of scepticism, but I took a chance on account of the great daily rate and didn’t regret it. My family decided to cross over to the Italy side and had a great time here. It’s not Nice or Cannes, it’s just a very low key place to decompress with the kids. The property itself is old and could use a facelift, but at least the staff tries their best to keep the place clean and functional. Being from North America we are accustomed to certain comforts and convenience. But this is classic Europe and you have to align your expectations and not act like a bunch of pretentious New Yorkers. Parking is free and there is an onsite laundromat for 5 euros."

"Interesting but not for everyone. We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way from Rome to Monaco, this place, although only a few miles from the freeway, it is located on a mountain with narrow roads that take almost 40 minutes to drive. The check in is by yourself, there are only 6 rooms and when we got there at 7 pm we were the only people in the whole building. The restaurants that were suggested to us were closed on that day so we had to drive higher in the mountain to find a place to eat. There were only 3 restaurants open. We ate at Baci, it was excellent.
In the morning we found out that 2 more couples had arrived after us.
Breakfast was ONE croissant per person and ONE coffee, no refills. There was also yogurt. That was not what the pictures show on their advertisement. There was only a man who served us the coffee and croissant but never checked back on us.
Also, we could not access the WiFi because the 2 passwords they gave us did not work.
Beautiful place if you like an interesting place to visit.
