"Excellent small friendly hotel. Last time in Edinburgh we stayed at a large quality central hotel, this was a lot better. Great check in, shown to room on 3rd floor. "Carberry Tower is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. The common rooms were amazing and we enjoyed playing a few rounds of cards in the library one evening. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Our dinner and breakfasts were good. We would definitely stay again. "

"It was a good short visit , the best thing of the hotel is location. I am extremely thankful to one of the staff members ( dont know the name ; but she was cleaning the room and dining area in afternoon), she has such a good heart, guided me, helped with phone charger, told me how to get around the city. "The staff was wonderful, the confusion in reaching/ returning to room due to construction very frustrating also, it would've been great to be oriented to how the power works, ex..the entire power grid to the room was turned off everyday after cleaning. Room would be fridged upon return.. Americans do not function in this manner. Power is aways present, no steps needed."
