While we went to get message in the hotel and did not lock the door to our room, someone from staff stole our wallet with credit card and money with personal Id card. "For the budget price, this was a good stay. We stayed for 2 nights, the hotel was adequate. The rooms were quite basic but we loved the mountain views. We hired a motorbike from a nearby shop so it was easy to move around from this hotel, otherwise that would've been a problem because of the location. At least 30 min walk to Laxman or Ram jhula. The better vibe is on the other side of the river so it matters. The water heater took a long time to heat up and the drain clogged easily, but...

"The hotel is at a good location and the new building is great besides the restaurant too is wonderful with great food and wonderful live music. The worry is if you get a regular room you will get a stale room with bed sheets and walls very stale. Pls only consider new building not the heritage (old wing) "
