"The castle is dramatic in it's contruction and the tour well worth the time. The hotel is part of the fort itself and is old and charming. Some rooms are being updated, but ours was already good. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy."

"A group of five of us had a 3 bed apartment. It was really nice. We were on motorbikes. We were able to park right next to the entrance. Owner is a biker and very knowledgeable on local riding routes. Lovely breakfast too. Only drawback is it’s a few miles from Bouillon, so needed to ride into town for food. "

We have been “welcomed” by the owner by him closing the door in front of us and yelling at us that check-in time is 5pm, that he does not care about us having 6 hours of driving and being tired. "This is the type of place I expected in a small town in Belgium; a little outdated but a friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays to give the help the day off but they still had a limited menu for the guests. They offered steak, local trout, and quiche. These were all very good.
