"We had a wallet come up missing from our room. When we went to management about it we were treated as if we were trying to get away with something. They basically told us their employees were honest and they wouldn't call them about it. After we explained we didn't even want to press charges we just wanted the wallet back they laughed at us saying no one would come turn it back in. The mgr called our room and asked if I wanted to contact the police and after seeing how they were I just said no. No cash was in it so other than replacing ids and debit card (we locked asap when it was discovered gone) we just let it go. Miraculously that very night it appeared in one of our bags we had already searched multiple times that day. We are counting it as a win but will not stay there again. We had turned that room upside down looking before we went to the front desk. "

"We experienced a serious issue upon arriving at the apartment. When we opened the door, it immediately reeked of gas. Stepping inside a few feet, the smell was overwhelming, similar to a gas station. The pungent odor gave us headaches, and we refused to stay any longer. Our total time inside was about five minutes. We called guest services, who informed us that we could not be moved to another room until the engineering team verified the gas smell. They advised us to wait outside if the smell was strong. With three children in town and it nearing 10PM, we returned to the front lobby and spoke to the manager. The manager confirmed that the engineering team needed to verify our claim before providing a new room and stated that no rooms were available due to spring break. We requested a refund and left the property. We will never stay at West Gate again and do not recommend it to family or friends. "

"Staff was great. Rooms are extremely outdated and our shower didn't work. The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors snoring throughout the night."

"The room was fairly clean, however the shower was dirty- someone’s hair was in the corner. Mice droppings in the washer and dryer closet. Food at the restaurant near the pool was served cold. The staff was nice however the food was cold. i would suggest pest control and a thorough walk through after the housekeeper. "

"Room was very clean, staff was very friendly, AC was cold and the beds were comfy. What more could you ask for at this price point. "

"The Elevator in our building was out of service for 5 days during our stay. The Valencia Restaurant has a good vibe but the service is slow. Breakfast was ok. The water park is nice and the convenience store/cafe is also nice. Internal walk from room to reception/ restaurant is not easy. could be confusing. The isle is also narrow when you have many guests using the pathway. The Room was in great condition/ Nice beds / good appliances/ washer and dryer inside"

"We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were a little dated but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There was a playground right near our building and a pool so if we had used those amenities it would have been perfect. "

"Staff was nice and always available . Definitely should put special notes about renovations and Amenity availability. Great proximity to shopping and disney parks. I would stay again. "
