"This incredible lodge blew our expectations. It was warm, comfortable, clean, new, well-appointed, and in a fantastic neighborhood. Checking in was a breeze (just key in a code) and the owners/managers were very responsive. It was a 1-minute drive to a strip of restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and Tekapo Springs Hot Pools. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and definitely stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay at this place. The unit was roomy and very clean. We had a Mountain View right outside our slider. A quick 10 minute drive and we were right in town. While there be sure to star gaze at night. What a beautiful display of stars. If you want to book an excursion for this do it ahead of time as it books up quickly."

"We stayed at the Shearers Quarters and it was a lovely stay. There was a dedicated parking space, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub and comfortable king size bed. Easy walking access into town and helpful hosts. Our stargazing tour was canceled due to cloudy weather but the office for that was right down the street. "

"We absolutely loved this little house! We could see Lake Tekapo from the front porch and we grilled out and had dinner outside there one night. The place is super comfy clean and perfectly appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A short walk or drive into town brought you to shops a grocery and restaurants. The location was great and quiet and safe. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Extremely small ,nowhere to put luggage, had to be on already small floor space, danger of tripping, zero storage facilities eg bedside table ( that was some contraption holding the rooms hairdryer and fan and only on one side of bed) . Bathroom had no mirror over basin, no lid on toilet but handrails and accessible shower even though there was no way one could get a wheelchair past the kitchen bench and bed into that bathroom.Overpriced! "

"We had a lovely albeit short stay. Beautiful clean house, nice deck and comfortable bed, couch and bean bags. Walking distance to town. Kitchen was smaller than anticipated, but well equipped. There's a small fireplace and a heat pump, but I still felt a tad chilly. Electric blanket would be a nice touch, and also a nightstand on both sides of the bed. I think this would be great fit for a family. Self check-in/out via the lockbox was a breeze. Would be a bonus if checkout was 11am instead of...
