"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin."

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff are its biggest asset, friendly ,polite, attentive and hard working. The breakfast was excellent and the food in the bar so good we ate there every night. Would definitely recommend as a place to go"

Confused management

"We reserved a room and we were emailed the room # and code to get in front door. When we arrived at 8pm the room was given away even though we had a reservation and had paid and a room code etc. then they found us a different room upstairs that was difficult to lock. The room was fine but quite noisy and small. No breakfast. We were there two nights."

"GREAT location. Right on the Octagon. Easy to walk to bars, shopping, restaurants, etc. Easy check-in. Decent breakfast included. Parking is tight in the entire town. Just good to know that in advance. The hotel staff were very helpful with parking options and explanations. Would recommend! "

"The location was great. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room and everything we needed to get to was walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and when my cab never showed up, the staff at thw fromt desk helped me secure another cab so we could get to my brother's wedding venue."
