"We enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Amara suites, caterer's court. The apartment was very spacious and well furnished. It was centrally located for all sites in central Lagos, Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekki. The staff was very helpful and the check-in was smooth, starting with a complimentary airport pick-up. We felt secure in the compound with adequate security. It was a home away from home. The gym was well equipped . The only complaint is lack of towels cleaning tissues in the gym."

"The pillow cases on the pillows did not look clean. It appears a guest must have checked out before I was allocated the room and housekeeping did not bother to change them. They looked worn out and very used. Same with the towels. They looked overused. There was dust on a side table attached to a standing floor light in the room"

"A gem safe in a secure area. Able to walk in the neighborhood even as woman. The hotel stuff is friendly and accommodating. An on site store is convenient and has everything you may need when traveling. The hotel is clean and smells good. There was not one issue. The breakfast buffet offers a variety. The pool is kept clean and hotel provides entertainment in the pool area in the weekends. It’s guarded and well taken care off. We enjoyed our 9 day stay. "

"Pro’s: We stayed in a sea view room on the ground floor which was by the pool over looking the lagoon which was a beautiful sight. Good distance from places to eat. Con’s: The window didn’t lock and being right beside the front door made it easy to slide the window open and unlock the door from the inside. The phone in the room didn’t work and when we reported this, we were given a mobile number to ring which still didn’t work. So each time we needed something we would have to walk to...

" Stayed 2 nights feb 18. Check in: Early good. Dirty (filthy) carpet otherwise room okay but below standard of similar price hotels- Eko/ federal palace etc by far. Air con in room not working. Moved rooms. Upgrade good. Suite much better. Still bad carpets. No extra charge for upgrade. Pool area and outside bar not staffed so have to come in for drinks. Pool looked dirty so didn’t use. Inside bar also unstaffed but someone will come from reception if you want a drink....
