"I had a wonderful stay at the Castelo Guest House. the staff were lovely and very helpful. I was staying in the family room which had a small kitchen which was great. The veranda was amazing and views were stunning. You can have a breakfast basket delivered you your room which is lovely. The only thing which could be a downside, was my window opened the road which, If you are a light sleeper could be an issue if you want the window open. Many people walk and drive up the road. This was ok for me like listening to the sea when I sleep, which was lovely. Location is excellent and all the staff were welcoming. "

"There was nothing to dislike! This is my third visit and Vale da Lapa did not disappoint. The villa was large and very well appointed . In particular the reception staff were always very helpful, pleasant and informative. "

"Beautiful view out to the ocean. The hotel is very well situated along the hiking path and not too far from the restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pool was busy, even for late September. We had a room with a terrace, and the room interior was nice, but or terrace view was looking at the entrance of the hotel, and although it's a nice hotel, watching people coming and going is not the most beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was busy and there was lots of food. The coffee was always full and the orange was delicious. Check-in and check-out were also easy. The viewers from the hotel and the pool area were definitely worth it. "

"This property was amazing! Staff was fantastic as well. We were upgraded to a Villa upon arrival and it was incredible! Pools were beautiful and the buffet was excellent! I can’t say enough about this hotel. Great job ,thank you for your hospitality ☺️"
