"I booked this hotel for my daughter and her friend who wanted to extend their holiday in Zante. The hotel pictures looked suitable - I did not expect a 5 star hotel in a party resort full of young people! The reality of the accommodation did not reflect the pictures advertised by the hotel! The main building is fine but my daughter was stuck in an additional block of the hotel which was adjacent to the laundry room! "The villa is well kept and is not too far from the nearest town although you will need to rent some form of transport if you would like to go there often. The villa itself does not have a rooftop pool as shown in pictures and is not as secluded as it looks, the owner and her father also live next door metres away and will ban you from being in the pool at certain times and threaten to call the police if you play music late. "Stayed for two nights. Room sizeable and clean, a few improvements needed in the bathroom but everything worked. Pool and bar area very nice and drinks reasonably priced, cheaper than in the bars in town. There was air conditioning in the room but I didn’t try to get it on because I didn’t need it, but a friend in another room tried and wast sure, maybe you need to pay for a remote control or something. Breakfast in the morning was included and while nothing spectacular did the job. Best thing about the place is its staff, who were all really friendly and helpful. Tourist tax is charged at 10 euros a night per room, which is the 4 star tax bracket, this isn’t a 4 star UK standard but a perfectly good 3 star with great staff . "
