Our stay was great. We arrived before check in at 3pm but was allowed to check in to get dressed for a party. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and the lobby was festive with its fall decorations.

Staff was nice and accommodating. The TV didn't work the first night. The nice lady at the front desk came to the room and tried to get it to work but wasn't able to. We appreciated her trying. It was taken care of the next day. Not sure what is used to clean the floors but the floors felt somewhat oily and sticky.

Nothing wrong with the room. However, the building is dated. All rooms open to the outside. There is no elevator to the second floor making it difficult for some to get heavy luggage to the second floor. There were a few people hanging outside when we arrived about 10:30 pm and it made me feel a little uncomfortable. And around 3:00 I was awakened by people outside the building talking in loud voices.

Honestly, the stay started off really bad... Due to circumstances that weren't easily explained, the 1st night was not as expected...
