"If ever there was a hidden gem, this is certainly it. Tucked away in the Italian countryside about an hour NE or Rome, we found this inn to be just about perfect. The innkeeper understands her role as a "way of life," not a "job," and it shows. "The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. The building itself needs lots of maintenance and the rooms need some updating, but the experience was great. We met beautiful people and that was priceless.
