"An AMAZING beautiful hotel conveniently located in prime area. The entire staff was POSITIVELY the best!!! I can not say enough good things about the entire staff. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby we were catered to as if we were Royalty. They were so accommodating and helpful. "The proprieter and his wife are very interested in pleasing their guests. The accommodation was quite lovely..........but up a steep flight of circular stairs. It lacked a seating area and a chest of drawers. The home-made jams ere wonderful when matched with the fresh croissants in the morning."

"What a wonderful hotel. The exterior walls are original but everything inside is apparently new from 2020. So, you get modern electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The floors don’t squeak, the furniture is new but with old world charm. The perfect combination. The staff was friendly and adept at speaking English. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. "

"The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. "
