The owner/hostess was so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. It was fun being in a classic old building with all the amenities you could want. I would stay there again.

Ma première expérience en chambre d'hôtes et je n'ai pas été déçu. Merci Fanny pour votre accueil chaleureux, la qualité des chambres et le repas préparé avec des ingrédients de la ferme. Un régal !!! Je recommande sans hésiter si vous êtes dans le secteur. N'oubliez pas votre serviette pour la piscine et votre lotion anti-moustique "tigre"

Séjour très agréable de 2 nuits pour un déplacement professionnel. Hôte très accueillante et à l’écoute. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié (sucré et salé) avec des confitures maison simple mais aussi originales. Un vrai délice. Très jolie maison d’hôte jardin piscine... je recommande +++

Super sejour

J'ai passé un très bon séjour. Une chambre propre est très spacieuse, au calme. Un plateau de courtoisie, et un accueil chaleureux. Le repas était excellent copieux et très bien présenté. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

lovely place to stay...

Very hospitable owners. The place is a little rustic, but clean and comfortable. We ate both evenings there and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The pool area is the sun all day and the garden is lovely. We stayed two nights and the room wasn’t serviced but that was ok for us. I can’t say enough how great the hosts were, really nice people.

Week end en amoureux dans la région , l'établissement vient d'être repris , très bon accueil des propriétaires cadre très sympa avec belle piscine sans vis a vis, possibilité de prendre les repas sur table individuelle pour le repas ou le petit déjeuner, belle terrasse , table d'hôte simple et pas cher. Nice place to stay

Really nice house with helpful owners. Breakfast was very good. The downside was the local area but we were only there for the night so didn't matter to us. However we spoke to some locals in the not so very good bar and they told us that there were plans for improvements. Hope that's true.

Gem in La Roche Chalais

Uninspiring from roadside but really lovely inside. Great room, super pool, good choices at breakfasts. Absolutely charming and friendly people. Small village with very good restaurant Le Bontemps which hotel will reserve for you as it does get busy. No hesitation in recommending and will usd again when in area.
