La Redorte was on our route and is a very pretty, canalside town that grew when the Canal was a commercial entity. Now given over to pleasure craft the village is quiet and relaxing but with good modern facilities.

"Staff helpful, meals reasonable,very clean and tidy. Location in business park not the best but Aldi and Lidl handy. Some 40 mins walk to centre. Ok if you have a car but taxis expensive and buses not reliable."
