"The area was so amazing, the sea view was so inspiring, I kept the window open and enjoyed the cool breeze. And enjoyed seeing the sun rise every morning. Just a note 580 stairs to your room. So if your not in shape be ready to make a few stops along the way. But it gets easier. "

"Stayed here so I could hike the path of the gods. It is perfect for the start of this. Very clean hotel with a nice buffet breakfast of a fresh croissant and cereals/toast yogurt and cakes. You can easily get the bus here from Naples. Be warned the buses are that frequent and getting around the area can be a little hit and miss."

"This property is in a quiet town above Amalfi and Positano. It is in a pastoral community with lots of small farming plots, livestock, orchards and local Italians. The town is situated at the beginning of the famous Sentiero Degli Dei hike and has great restaurants. The hotel is a beautifully built stone and log beam structure with very comfortable rooms. "We had a wonderful few nights at this property. Angela was a very responsive and kind host. The room/ensuite were very clean and modern and equipped with all the amenities we could ever need. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and it was an easy train ride to both Sorrento and Pompeii, with the station being very close by. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay at this property! "It was perfection! The most picturesque view! Kids (5 & 6 yrs) were able to easily walk down stairs to the beach and then catch the shuttle bus back up to the room. Lovely market next door (with the kindest staff) meant we could cook for the kids, get them to bed early and enjoy a bottle of wine and antipasto patter on the balcony in the evenings to soak up every minute with that view. Mauro and the housekeeping staff at Palazzo Margherita were so kind, helpful and hospitable. Worth the splurge for us! "

"This hotel’s location is perfect. It’s about a seven minute walk down to the beach. The balcony’s look over one of the main strips with shops and restaurants. Very walkable area. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. They assisted us with booking a day trip to Almalfi, and they always asked how our stay was going when they greeted us in the lobby. Breakfast and the cappuccinos were delicious! "
