"This was a really cute Inn. The room was well decorated, clean, great lighting options, nice bathroom and shower, good soaps and lotion, nice bed and bedding, good curtains and cute balcony. My only issue was the parking but I had a car for my stay because of traveling out of Austin. This would be a great place to stay and just uber around if needed. Plenty nearby to do. But doable once you get the parking down. "

"Fantastic location and beautiful hotel. The team were all super helpful and nice. They helped us check-in early, figure out the kitchen, and gave us recommendations for places to visit / eat. I was a bit worried we had a room facing the street, because there was a bar with a loud band a few doors down, but they stopped the music promptly at 11pm and we slept great! There's also a noise machine in the room. "

"I love the vibe of the Carpenter Hotel. I stay here everytime I am in Austin. It is small and unique, not standard style hotel. They have a great coffee shop that attracts the community and a great restaurant. "

"Had to valet park and woukd have preferred to park myself. Small things but worth noting: Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower were charcoal based but did not smell very good. Did not have but two creamers for coffee creamer even though there were 6 pods… Overall good experience though!"

Hotel Indigo Austin Downtown - University, an IHG Hotel

No breakfast service at 8AM

"Everything was great except that when I went to the restaurant for breakfast around 8AM, there was nobody taking orders. I called out “hello” multiple times from the counter toward the kitchen and nothing. I was told that breakfast was supposed to be served starting at 7AM. So that is my only complaint. "
