Wonderful hotel at the foot of Africa
Wonderful stay in a beautiful location with wonderful hosts in Allen and Sheryll. Great spot, right beside the ocean and lots of wonderful tips from a lovely couple. If you want to stay at the southernmost tip of Africa this is a great place to do it.

We did not actually stay because we had sent a message to the owners requesting comung a day early and never heard back from them. So we drove by location and it looked okay. I would have to question ocean views as there was big tall shrubs directly across the street betwween the house and ocean not sure if you could see ocean maybe from second floor

Lovely location just across road from Agulhas bay, with a good view across the shoreline. Also within easy reach of places of interest and good local restaurants. Our hosts were very welcoming (including a cuppa on arrival) and they gave us great tips on what to visit/see nearby and also for our onward trip to Capetown. Breakfast was really good and our room was nice & clean. We would be happy to stay there again and would try to book a room with a view of the bay if we could

Sheryl & Allan are the perfect hosts
The Ocean House is a lovely sea facing property around 1.5km from Agulhas. What really sets this property apart from others that we have stayed in was the welcome we received from the ever attentive Sheryl & Allan. They are genuinely nice hosts who made us feel ever so welcome throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was high quality, freshly cooked and generous and everything felt to be a nice relaxed experience. We were made to feel like family members and if we return to Agulhas in the future without doubt we would stay again at the Ocean House.

We had fabulous stay at this beautiful property next to the ocean. Sheryl and Allan are very welcoming and heart-warming hosts. Breakfast was also amazing, would definetely recommend this place.

Home away from home
Warm welcome by the owners in this beautifully decorated guesthouse. Great breakfast in the morning. Easily accessible premises on the Main road. Breathe the fresh air of the Ocean while admiring the horizon. L’Agulhas is a small but warm place despite the cool weather.

Amazing Guest House
The Ocean House at the southern tip of Africa is the most amazing place to stay. We have returned here for a second time and we love this beautiful 5 star guest house. Our hosts are wonderful and have created a paradise for their guests. We highly recommend that you stay here.

Perfect stay
This is a beautiful place to stay with first class service. The owners gave us a lovely greeting and were incredibly helpful with local knowledge. The rooms are very comfortable and we were lucky to have a sea view on the 1st floor. Breakfast was spot on. Highly recommended!

The Ocean House in my experience is one of the nicest places we have stayed in during our many travel trips. We stayed in tha Zen Room which had its own separate sitting area in addition to the main bedroom and bath. The rooms were very spacious. The owners and staff were gracious and attentive. I have no reservations about recommending this property for a stay in the Agulhas area.
