We are staying at Thon hotel sandvin. It is overlooking the fjiord. Beautiful. The breakfast is terrific. There is 24 hour cpffee available. The service is great at the front desk. Stina was very helpfulwithinformation, recommendations, and printed our boarding passes for us

Beautiful restored Austrian Chateau style hotel in a gorgeous area. Clean, well-maintained. Great breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Situated in a stunningly beautiful location with nice walking trails. Highly recommend.

We hung our towels up as we did not need new ones each day but they were replaced each day We required more in our tea and coffee box such as sugar and creamer BUT Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful

Rooms were spacious. Bkfst was good. But the guy at the reception could show a bit of friendliness at check in. He was cold as a fish. However, Maria, at checkout, was warm and super helpful.

I arrived at te hotel very sick with Salmonella poisoning, so during my stay I did not experience it as intended. My thanks goes to the outstanding staff! They let us cancel the next night in the hotel, they provided two small bottels of apple juice which, was dearly needed just to get a little bit of strength and they gave us a late check out the next day. Those two extra hours helped a lot actually. Best hospitality one can possibly get from a hotel. Thank you so much!

We have stayed in 7 hotels during our trip to Norway and this was the worse and the only one we regret staying. It is quite pricey and it's advertised as this very relaxing beach hotel, for us it was not! They gave us a run of the mill room close to the main road, in an annex of the main building, room was just dull and depressing. Reception lady was missing curtesy and it had a "we don't care" about you sort of feel. Parking was free and very convenient and we had a good breakfast...but that was it.
