"Stayed 2 nights in July 2024. Purpose of the trip was to visit Troy, and Hisarlik Hotel is perfect for that. It's just a short walk from both the ancient site of Troy and (in the opposite direction) the Troy Museum. "Booked a non-smoking room six months in advance but got a room that a smoker had used the hotel did try to rectify by giving it a deep clean but a day later the smell was back again. We put up with it for the extra three days of ou stay, breakfast was just possible for Hilton hotel I would’ve expected more Good shopping centre across the road from HOTEL extra shout out to Mustafa the bell boy who was extremely helpful with all our needs. "Visited during the off-season and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow their personal mobile phone to make a domestic call to change our rental car reservation (the international call from my phone would have cost an arm and a leg). We stayed in one of the top floor rooms right under the roof which had its on patio, tons of light, was very private and spacious. Not much to do around the property though, you’d want a car to drive into downtown Çanakkale. "
