"We had a good stay at Furuhata, but there were a few inconveniences. The onsen was fantastic—nice and hot, perfect after a long day of skiing. Towels and kimonos were replaced daily, which was a great touch, and beds were made every two days. The price was reasonable, and the shuttle to the ski resort was convenient. "This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "
