"Great location and hospitality "

"Fantastic hotel, within a small shopping mall area. Good breakfast with free take away coffee. Walkable to the metro which was super easy to use and zipped us to anywhere we needed to go quickly. The area was perfect as it was so central to the main sites, had loads of shopping near by, coffee shops moments outside the hotel as well as restaurants and shops for drnks and snacks. The room itself was great, but it's the staff who shine here. We stayed 4 nights and on our 3rd night 1t 11.30pm our room randomly filled with the smell of strong cigarette smoke. The hotel is non smoking so we can only presume a nearby guest was breaking the rules and it came the vents. We called down to reception, who sent someone up within 5 minutes with a new room for us (it was that bad!!). They helped us move all our luggage and belongings to a new room which was an upgraded room. They also sent us a cheese platter the next day and the Duty Manager called us the next afternoon to check we were ok with the new room. All way above and beyond expectation for a situation which really wasn't their fault. All in all, we would stay here if we come to Shangahi again. "
