"Internet connection was too weak to use in the room. Even though the website stated they had an iron and ironing board, when I requested this the staff said "we used to have one, but it's gone now." Only one in the whole hotel? Also, for the deposit, the staff charged me 200rmb on my credit card, rather than simply placing a hold. This is mildly annoying as now I have to wait a week or two for the charges to be reversed. "

"We've stayed at a couple of different Jinjiangs on Changing Road and this one is better than the other. The rooms are very clean and the staff very accommodating (its seems like many even speak some English). They have pretty fast wired internet which is nice given how slow it is in most budget hotels in China. The beds are very comfortable by Chinese standards. "The room was well-kept and comfortable, but too small for the luggage I was carrying (2 bags). I changed rooms and upgraded from the queen-size to the king size bed as to have more living space.
