"The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property. "When we got to the hotel they 1st said they didn't do hotel's. Com so i was about to cancel my credit card as i thought i had been scammed had i done so it would have been very inconvenient. After 20 minutes of panicking the manager came over and said we did have a booking. If i had not paid upfront i would have walked out NOT HAPPY 😡"

"The host was surprised to see us arriving........first time ever happening. room was, of course not ready, no wifi, bathroom in a terrible condition, breakfast was a joke compare to other hotels we have been, I don't even know if it was a real hotel."

"This is a villa converted to a hotel. The have only 4 rooms. The description is misleading. Too expensive. Does not worth it. It should not be rated more than 1 star! The view from the room (Delox twin) is totally obstructed. It smells terrible!"

"It was a bit far from the downtown area. But not an issue for us because we have a driver. They have driver's room, but not at the same place. It was one of the best stay for us in the 2 weeks trip. Highly recommend it. The only downside is the hotel is a bit hard to locate. Its up on the hill with a very narrow street. It was quite a challenge when we had a mini van to drive up the alley. "

The hotel owner and his staff were all super nice and helpful - whether it was helping with tuk tuks, doing laundry and/or offering coffee/tea. Every time we came back it felt like coming home. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was the best with nice surroundings and was a bit different every day. The mountain view was also amazing!"

"98 Acres Resort & Spa is an amazing place, with its beautiful location, fantastic staff taking care of you 24/7, and delicious food. The hotel and rooms were big and very clean, and the pool area is amazing with its view of the mountains. My family and I had a really great time, and we were able to relax and get in zen mode. "Ella green är ett fantastiskt litet ställe dit du tar dig efter en liten uppförsbacke. Vi hade utsikt över skogen med mycket fåglar och några apor. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och bjöd på en god frukost med allt för mycket mat. 10 minuters promenad var vi nere i centrum med affärer restauranger vi stannade 2 nätter och är mycket nöjda med tanke på priset. "

"Very friendly staff and wonderful property. They are located close to the main area of restaurants and a quick drive to things like Little Adam’s Peak. The place itself is very nice and well maintained. Breakfast is tasty- what seems like the standard Sri Lankan breakfast, but well done. "
