"We ended up having to stay in Pangkalan Bun unexpectedly when our flight was cancelled. We booked this hotel at the last minute. The staff were very nice and the facilities good. My only complaint would be that it is a fairly long walk to get to the main part of town where the “sites” are. A short drive, so if you prefer that, the location is fine, but if you like to walk, pick something a little closer to the water. "

"The hotel looks well presented and lobby is fine. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Room is also clean and presentable. We arrived new years eve and really just wanted somewhere to sleep before heading home after 3 weeks of backpacking. The hotel had a bbq arranged and was only accommodating the people who had pre booked. We found it difficult to get a meal just for us in the restaurant and there was major language barriers. The breakfast was a disaster - no food left and we had...
