"It was fairly typical for a hotel in Africa. There was obvious maintenance that was needed in the bathroom - some peeling paint and an off-kilter cabinet - but the room was big enough for the four of us, and the A/C and hot water was as good as it gets and rather unexpected. The ceiling light in the bedroom was not bright enough, but we brought our own emergency lighting so that was not an issue. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in getting us our room. "This is a nice place to stay but they have closed there restaurant so you have to either drive to town (10 min. ) or go to the adjacent hotel that is a bit overpriced. The rooms are clean and fairly well maintained. There is no TV in the rooms and there are no TV's to request if this is something you would want. The staff is mostly attentive."
