The staff at the hotel are so nice and helpful. It’s charming and you get the feel of the 1940’s. If you’re looking to be close to old town this location is perfect. There is also easy access to public transport.

Hands down, the friendliest and most helpful counter staff, particularly Edyta, in all the years and many pkaces we have travelled . Great place, breakfast, rooms and proximity to things. This hotel is an absolute gem!

Older hotel but well maintained and very clean. Breakfast had many options. Room was not large (we had a balcony room but view was of hotel across the street). Our friend’s room was larger and had a sofa. Prices were reasonable. Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Very convenient location. They can set up tours for you although we did not use that option. Lots of tours have meeting spot about 1 minute walk away. We ate in restaurant one evening and they had great pizza selection as well as hamburgers and some other items. I had a hamburger with cranberry sauce and onion rings on it and it was fabulous. About 20 minutes walk from train station, from Wawel Castle and even closer to Old Town Square. Would definitely stay here again if in Krakow.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Hotel was very clean and bed comfortable. Reception staff were a delight and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel is on a quiet street and only about a 5-10 minute walk into the old town. Tram stop are nearby to take you all over the city.

We selected this place for its location and reputation as being clean and having a friendly staff. Perfect if you just need a place to crash between day trips and want to walk down to Old Town for some delicious food! Wonderful staff.

The hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They guided us regarding tours as well making a packed breakfast/lunch when we had an early tour. Very good location and easily accessible to most locations.

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had! First of all thanks to an amazing staff who help out with all the requests. Girls at the front desk are just amazing ! Rooms are clean and cosy, breakfast was great! Definitely staying here again when in Krakow!

Positives: Very friendly and helpful reception staff (all female) They really are the strongest aspect of this hotel and should be recognised. Reasonably-sized clean room, with a comfortable bed. Air-condition for cooling air available. Good-sized balcony. Tap water jug replenished daily a nice touch. Complimentary tea and coffee/kettle. Breakfast room serves as a restaurant for lunch/dinner serving good food at reasonable prices. Location is a short 5 minute walk into the old town. Negatives: Breakfast is not included in the price of some of the rooms (in comparison, I stayed at an equivalent 3* hotel in the centre similarly priced that included breakfast in the room rate). A bit tight with room amenities. I had to request more from reception staff. I stayed in two 3* hotels in the area and this was the winner. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Excellent option in Krakow
The staff at Hotel Wielopole make this hotel stand out. The location is good, just outside the ring of the Old Town, with the park nearby and you get to the town square in ten minutes' walk. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's quite personable and very professional.
